I, the business, duly represented by a representative, hereby submit this application to lease the property from the owner, subject to a lease agreement to be prepared by the Agent. If the landlord approves this application, the business agrees to enter into a Residential Tenancy Agreement.
I acknowledge that the approval of the owner/landlord is required for this application. I solemnly declare that all the information provided in this application, is true, correct, and provided voluntarily to the best of my knowledge. I affirm that the applicant has conducted due diligence and inspections of the premises and is not involved in any bankruptcy proceedings.
In order to assess the business's suitability as a tenant, I authorise the Agent to obtain relevant business information from the following sources:
(a) Owners or Agents of the business's current or previous business locations;
(b) Owners or Agents of the business's current or previous residential tenancy locations;
(c) Business trade references;
(d) Any record listing or database of tenant defaults, such as NTD, TICA, or TRA.
I am aware that the Agent may need to verify the information provided and may conduct further investigations into the business's financial standing and suitability as a tenant.
I understand that business's and representative's information may be used and disclosed by the Agent for the following purposes:
(a) Communication with the owner and assessment of tenancy suitability;
(b) Preparation of lease/tenancy documents;
(c) Allowing contractors or relevant organisations to contact the business;
(d) Compliance with regulatory authorities and submission of required documentation;
(e) Referring to Tribunals/Courts & Statutory Authorities (where applicable);
(f) Referring to collection agents/lawyers (where applicable);
(g) Conducting necessary credit checks and assessments.
I am aware that the disclosure of accurate and complete information is essential for the consideration of this application. The business understands that providing false or misleading information may result in the rejection of this application or termination of the lease agreement.
